At Burwood Eye clinic, we aim to see eye to eye.
We are an independent private practice, directed by Dr. David Wechsler since 2014.
Founded by Drs. Fred and Ian Wechsler over 40 years ago we have an established track record providing quality care, with clinical and surgical expertise, as well as a personal and caring touch.
After six years of university training to become medical doctors our highly qualified Ophthalmologists have then completed many additional years of specialist training and continual professional development as fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
Our dedicated Ophthalmologists are supported by our caring team of professional Orthoptists and reception staff for your optimal care.
Patients are generally referred by their General practitioner or Optometrist. It is also a privilege to treat friends and family of existing patients, and medical colleagues.
Consultations occur in our Burwood office. We also perform some laser procedures here. Surgery will require hospital admission, usually as a ‘day only’ procedure.
