Dr Xiong is known for her patient-centred approach, surgical precision, and commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

Pursuing subspecialty excellence, Dr Xiong undertook a Medical Retina Fellowship at Westmead Hospital under world-renowned retinal expert Professor Paul Mitchell, followed by a prestigious Surgical Retina Fellowship at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, where she served as Chief Fellow. She holds the DRCPSC (Retina) designation, recognising her completion of accredited subspecialty training in Canada.

Dr Xiong is a Visiting Medical Officer at Concord Hospital, actively involved in training and mentoring the next generation of ophthalmologists. As a Clinical Associate Lecturer with the University of Sydney, she teaches medical students and supervises the development of practical ophthalmology skills.

Committed to advancing the field through ongoing research, with regular presentations at national and international conferences, publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, and contributions as a reviewer for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology.
